In the halls of St. Paul Catholic Church, Nylon Brazzaville-Douala, bags of rice, bottles of vegetable oil, spaghetti, and other food items weren’t just handed out — they were handed over with love, dignity, and a silent promise: “You are not forgotten.”

For mothers who have carried their children across regional borders, for fathers who have watched their homes turn to ashes, and for children who have had to grow up too fast with interrupted education— this was more than food. It was a warm meal, a kind word, and a reminder that humanity still stands with them. And this isn’t the first time. Like a faithful “nutritional midwife,” HEMACHA/ RELUFA has consistently walked this journey with displaced families, bringing nourishment when all else feels empty. Even transport fare was provided so that no one would have to choose between getting home and getting food.

NB: Charity doesn’t just feed the body.
